The invention relates to a device making it possible to chase intruders (humans or rats and mice) from a premises by emitting a sound at an adjustable frequency. It consists of a housing containing a piezoelectric tweeter 1, a normal amplifier 2, a voltage rectifier 3, a 30-volt regulator 4, a 12-volt regulator 5, a 400-volt insulated capacitor 6, a switch allowing the frequency 7 to be selected and an oscillator of any type 8. The device according to the invention is particularly intended to chase burglars or rodents (mice and rats) from a premises protected by the device without emitting sound disturbing the neighbourhood.
