PURPOSE:To form integrally the optional shaped part bigger than the cylindrical diameter on the tip of blank by applying external pressure with the die being formed by the optional shaped hollow part the inner wall face of which is larger than the cylindrical diameter of the blank and the blank inserting hole which communicates therewith on the cylindrical cup-shaped blank closing the one end. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical cup-shaped metallic body 1 is covered on core metal 5 and charged inside the blank inserting hole 4 and pressed by descending slowly the upper die 2. The closed end side of the cylindrical cup-shaped metallic body 1 is then deformed along the inner wall of the recessed part 2a and at the time when the upper die 2 and lower 3 come into close contact, it is shaped with bulging in the shape of the inner wall of the hollow part and the metallic member 6 of flask shape can be formed simply by press machine from the bottomed cylindrical body 1. The housing of a joint can then be obtd. by the secondary processing from the forming member.
