PURPOSE:To simplify a control device by providing a joystick to be operated shifting the operating spacial phase by 45 degrees so as to obtain the forward and backward propulsive force and turning force in the water or air by combining two sets of thrusters. CONSTITUTION:A joystick 3 is provided to x-y, that is, shifting the operating spacial phase by 45 degrees so as to obtain the forward and backward propulsive force and turning force of the hull or a machine body by combining thrusters 1 and 2 that generate horizontal propulsive force Tx and Ty in the x-axis direction. Consequently, the arithmetic operation of Kx.Rx and Ky.Ry is performed for the resistance values Rx and Ry of each potentiometer x' or y' and the forward and backward propulsive force Tx and Ty of the respective thrusters 1 and 2 are controlled separately. As a result, the need for an addition and subtraction circuit is eliminated in the control device of the joystick 3 and the number of components can be reduced and then the components can be simplified.
