Irregularly-shaped item stowage system - uses low vessel open at one side inserted open side first

The system delivers and stows rigid irregularly-shaped items difficult to handle manually into a space closed at the top, being particular.y for frozen carcases in refrigeration trucks. The items are carried manually part of the way. The handlers insert the items in a vessel open at one side (1) and of height su:h that the items are at a lower height than when being carried. The vessel is then inserted in the truck open side first and a bulkhead thrusts them out from the opposite side, the vessel moving rearwards at the same time. Where items are already present at the discharge point, the vessel is moved above them.
