A die is created containing, on one of its sides, a barcode so as to produce a film containing several novel dies serving to produce printing blocks. Starting from the printing plate, the procedure consists in a first check by optical reading of each barcode followed by the printing of the notices, each printing plate is checked by means of an optical reader of the barcode before folding so that, at the time of folding, the procedure is a third check of the barcode followed by the cutting out of the band which carries this barcode before the folded notices are placed in a box carrying on one of its sides a notice which was not cut out with the barcode in order to enable each box to be checked before storage. Applications: checking the printing of notices, packaging dockets and labels intended for pharmaceutical products and products which may be dangerous.
