PURPOSE:A cake blended with essence of Chinese quince having enhanced antimicrobial action, obtained by blending a cake with both essence of Chinese quince extracted with a solvent and menthol. CONSTITUTION:A cake is blended with about 1wt% based on the cake of both essence of Chinese quince extracted with a solvent (preferably essence extracted from an alcohol) and menthol in a weight ratio of preferably 1:1 to give a cake blended with essence of Chinese quince having antimicrobial action enhanced by menthol.
