Sample chamber for spectroscopic studies on aggressive fluid samples at temperatures of up to 250 DEG C

Hitherto, no suitable sample chamber has been available for spectroscopic studies of aggressive fluid samples at temperatures of up to 250 DEG C, as the vessel materials used hitherto, especially quartz, are not inert with respect to alkaline media at elevated temperatures. If a sample container of partially transparent polytetrafluoroethylene is used, spectroscopic studies in the wavelength range of visible light can be carried out even at temperatures of up to 250 DEG C without a drop in the signal level.
