PURPOSE:To open a fracture type opening valve, surely without using explosive force, by providing such an arrangement that a valve plug is sheared under twisting force given by a moment by a deforming member which is deformed in accordance with variations in temperature. CONSTITUTION:A disc-like outward facing flange 44 is projected outward from the outer peripheral surface of one end part of a valve body 44, the outer periphery of the flange 44 fitted in the inner peripheral wall of a valve inlet port 41 in a liquid-tight manner, and a substantially cylindrical valve body plug 45 having a blind hole 45a is secured to the other end part of the valve body 44, coaxially with the latter so that the inner end part of a central hole 44a in the valve body 44 is blocked. When a deforming member 48 is subjected to a variation in temperature, a rack 47 is depressed downward to give a torque to a rotary sleeve 46 which therefore shears the valve body plug 45 under twisting force. With this arrangement, the valve inlet port 41 may be communicated with a valve outlet port 42 through the central hole 44a.
