CHILLER UNIT EQUIPPED WITH OZONE TREATING DEVICE TO STERILIZE SLAUGHTERED CARCASS AND PRODUCTION DEVICE FOR COLD WATER STERILIZED UNDER HEATING

PURPOSE:To cool and sterilize slaughtered carcass efficiently and continuously, by attaching a device to feed ozone under pressure to a chiller tank to be supplied with cooling water and setting a device which filters water discharged from the chiller tank, sterilizes under heating, cools and returns to the tank. CONSTITUTION:Cooling water is sent to a chiller tank 1 and slaughtered carcass such as broiler, etc., are transferred while being immersed in the tank. The slaughtered carcass are cooled and sterilized. The chiller tank 1 is equipped with ozone feeders 4 and 4a and ozone is fed to the tank. Water discharged from the chiller tank 1, put in a filtering tank 6 to remove floating particles, passed through a filter 14 by a pump 13 and through a heat exchanger 15. The water is heated to 128 deg.C by a heating pipe 19 in the heat exchanger, sterilized and cooled to 0 deg.C by the cooler 15. Then the water is returned to the chiller tank 1 and circulated.
