The trolley-carriage is for a suspended track system with a drive over the carriage with a downwardly extending entraining stud (3) couplable with the carriage. Towards the front of the carriage is a ridge (8) to engage the stud having a long taper. This cooperates with an uncoupling lip (22) and a tapered ridge (9) at the back of the carriage. In use, the two ridges are in the movement track and there is also a backward pointing uncoupling tail-piece to operate the uncoupling lip of a rising carriage from the rear the two ridges together form a rigid catch (20) movably attached to the carriage frame. The catch is worked under the influence of force in the operative position, and its pivot-point coincides with one of the wheel sets.
