The invention concerns a new box suitable for the presentation, display, shipping and use of sets of cutlery.The box concerned consists of: a rigid hinged body with closing mechanism; several rigid containers that can be joined together given that they are open, i.e. with no top side, or fitted together with the body; thermoformed components that adapt to the cavities on the latter containers; the distinctive feature is the fact that the constituent rigid parts are the same size and can be fitted together thanks to the modular principles used in their manufacture; it is also characterized by the fact that the containers are completed by a thermoformed, cardboard or laminate part as well as having elastic supports, bands or other means of keeping the cutlery contained inside the box in order.For cutlery manufacturers, wholesalers and resellers, the box concerned, built using standard manufacturing techniques, represents a new way of making full sets of cutlery, even with different types and numbers of pieces when necessary, whilst it simplifies use for buyers and users of cutlery.
