A baiting feed for cultivating fish, especially elvers which is disclosed herein comprises cattlefish as a predominant component, and krill and proper nutritive and attractive auxiliaries added thereto as minor components. Such a baiting feed is prepared by shredding a frozen cattlefish into a size of 6/100 mm or less, mixing the shredded cattlefish with krill and other components such as nutritive and attractive auxiliaries, and forming the mixture into a paste.
