A roller stone which can be assembled to form a roller conveyor comprises a basic body (1) containing a bearing part (2) and a covering part (3). Rolling balls (8) run on bearing elements (5) in the bearing part (2) and are closely surrounded by cavities (7) which face them in the covering part (3) and have the shape of spherical segments. The rolling balls (8) project with less than half their circumference above the rolling surface (9) of the basic body (1).
