The articulator comrpises a carrier (1) with a lower portion (2) with several spaced support elements (21;22), and an upper portion (3) with corresponding supported elements (31-33). The latter have lower (5) and upper holders (6) for respective clamps (7,8) releasably secured to them to transfer the equatorial relative movements of the teeth to the relevant elements (21,31). Between each support and supported element is arranged a pad of deformable and curable plastics, engaged by a pin (33) to register and store the possible modes of respective condylar motion. USE/ADVANTAGE - For simulating relative motion between mandible and maxilla preparatory to prosthesis formation, with a simple design and low-cost mfr.
