Connection of the upper link of a three-point mounting device of tractors for agriculture, forestry and commerce

To improve spatial conditions in the appliance mounting region of tractors, the upper link is divided into two main parts, namely an appliance-side and a tractor-side part. As is customary, the appliance-side upper-link main part is longitudinally adjustable, and the trailer coupling is integrated into the tractor-side upper-link main part and also performs the function of coupling the two upper-link main parts. So that the trailer coupling can execute the movements of an upper link, a cardan joint or ball joint blockable for trailer operation must be arranged in front of the trailer coupling, as seen in the pulling direction. For trailer operation, the cardan joint located in front of the trailer coupling is blocked by a second bolt which is arranged behind the cardan joint and the position of which makes it possible, by means of a suitable design, also to cut out the horizontal movements. The tractor-side coupling piece (for the trailer coupling) of the upper link is arranged in such a way that it can initiate automatic coupling operations. It can be adjusted via actuators of necessary number in such a way that it is seated free of play in the coupling jaw of the trailer coupling.
