PURPOSE:To feed two axes at one time with a single-hand operation in a manual feed mode of a numerically controlled machine tool by using a plane selection means which selects and decides a control plane based on the attitude of attachment and a double-axis simultaneous control pulse generating means using a ball. CONSTITUTION:A manual pulse generating device 13 contains a shift value instruction means 17 consisting of a ball 19 and rotary encoders 20A and 20B and a magnifying power changeover switch 27 set on an upper surface side 16a of a main body 16 together with a magnet plate 29 fixed on a lower surface side 16b respectively. When the device 13 is attached at the front face of a table for machine tool with G-H and I-J set at Z and X axes respectively, both encoders 20A and 20B are switched for control of the spindle head and an X axis driving motor of the table respectively by the function of an internal position detecting sensor 22. Thus it is possible to simultaneously shift both the spindle head and the table by an extent equal to the value magnified with the magnifying power of the switch 27 by turning properly the ball 19 of the mechanism 17 in the desired direction by a single hand.
