CLOTH HAVING STABILITY AGAINST RADIATION

PURPOSE: To obtain a nonwoven fabric comprising a propylene polymer containing a long-chain aliphatic ester of 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and having stability to radiation, especially ionized gamma radiation, electroconductivity and alcohol repellency. CONSTITUTION: This nonwoven fabric comprises a propylene (co)polymer containing a long-chain aliphatic ester of 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzoic acid and is prepared by mixing preferably a polypropylene polymer or a propylene- ethylene copolymer with 0.5-1.0 wt.% of hexadecyl 3,5-di-t-butyl-4- hydroxybenzoate and carrying out extrusion molding. The nonwoven fabric is suitable for disposable surgical products.
