PURPOSE:To realize synthesization of statement groups by securing such as constitution where a macro collation means collates a Japanese language macro with the collation pattern of a macro definition matter and then takes out a pair of a pattern variable and a character string restricted by said variable when the collation succeeds. CONSTITUTION:A macro definition matter storing file 2 stores a macro definition matter containing a collation pattern 2' including a pattern variable to be collated with a Japanese language macro and a conversion instruction part 4' which describes the procedure to convert the Japanese macro into a statement group 5' when the collation fails. A macro collation means 3 takes the pattern 2' out of the file 2 and compares a text 1' with the pattern 2' in case the text 1' taken out of the file 1 is equal to the Japanese macro. When the collation succeeds, the means 3 restricts a character string corresponding to the pattern variable to the pattern variable to form a pair 3' of the pattern variable and a character string restricted by said variable and informs the pair 3' to a statement converting means 4 to synthesize the statement group 5'.
