PURPOSE:To provide the titled preservative capable of eliminating small amount of the ethylene produced by vegetables and fruits themselves by oxidation always during their storage at normal to low temperatures, consisting of activated carbon on which metallic palladium etc. and sulfuric acid have been adsorbed. CONSTITUTION:The objective preservative consisting of activated carbon on which metallic palladium and/or palladium chloride and sulfuric acid have been adsorbed. This preservative is warmed and put into a closed container in which vegetables and fruits are to be contained.
