ACOUSTIC FILTER FOR SUPPRESSING OR ATTENUATING HALF WAVE OF ELASTIC WAVE AND ELASTIC WAVE OSCILLATOR HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: To shorten processing time and to improve efficiency by holding liquid at saturated steam pressure near to average static pressure transmitted to the center of the liquid at a temperature transmitted to a sealed body when an elastic wave passes through the liquid because of a steam-charged cavity formed in the liquid. CONSTITUTION: Liquid passes a receptor 9 fixed to a temperature controller controlled by a control circuit 10 and the circuit 10 holds a prescribed value so as to obtain required steam pressure. Under the condition, each acoustic pulse having a negative half wave generates cavitation and absorbes the energy of the half wave. Since generated fine bubbles are erased by a flow of liquid before the arrival of a succeeding pulse, the transmission of a positive half wave is not interrupted. Consequently the processing time can be shortened and the efficiency can be improved.
