In a method for displaying passenger information by means of a display panel which is erected at a stop for public transport means, it is provided that the departure times of a transport means are automatically cancelled when the transport means arrives, is present, or departs. In addition, the display of the departure times can be changed by flashing etc. when the real current time is overshot with respect to other departure times which are later than the current time.
