Device for bending wooden barrels, in order to allow the mounting of the metal hoops which are to hold them in shape, and allowing fast, concentric operation without effort from the operator. It is made up of a table 1 on which there slide in guides 3 six clamping jaws 5 between which are located the barrels to be bent. The jaws 5 have a radius of curvature which is identical to that of the barrel to be manufactured, they are driven integrally by rollers 9 sliding each in a curved groove of the rotary multiple cam 6. The cam 6 rotates through one hundred and twenty degrees with respect to the table, about a shouldered spindle 7 integral with the latter, under the effect of two hydraulic rams 11, connected in parallel, to a hydraulic unit by means of a plurality of hoses, and of a directional control device when the operator manipulates the latter, and it drives the six jaws in its rotation. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the manufacture of wooden barrels, of any capacity, up to six hundred litres. IMAGE
