PURPOSE: To obtain a color proof film having high photosensitivity and to decrease or substantially prevent deactivation due to triplet state oxygen by constituting a transparent base body having a peeling surface, a color photosensitive layer on the peeling surface, and an adhesive layer on the color photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION: This film consists of a transparent base body having a peeling surface, a single color photosensitive compsn. layer directly formed on the peeling surface, and a thermosensitive adhesive layer on the color photosensitive layer. A preferable material for the transparent base body is polyethylene terephthalate, and generally, the base body has about 1 to 10mil thickness. The color photosensitive layer is preferably formed by using an org. solvent coating compsn., and for a typical solvent, methylethylketone is used. The photopolymerizable material included in the color photosensitive layer contains such an addition-polymerizable non-gas ethylene type unsatd. compd. that has at least two terminal ethylene groups and can produce a high polymn. polymer by radical initiating chain propagation addition polymn. Thereby, deactivation by triplet state oxygen can be prevented.
