IDEOGRAPHIC CHARACTER ARRAY TABLE, IDEOGRAPHIC CHARACTER COUPLING WORD ARRAY TABLE AND DICTIONARY

PURPOSE:To facilitate the identification of a character or a coupling word by setting quadrilateral areas corresponding to ideographic character assembly, ideographic character coupling word assembly, distinguishing the areas from adjacent areas, and disposing character or coupling word information recording parts in the areas. CONSTITUTION:Character information recording parts having headers are respectively provided for ideographic characters, quadrilateral areas are respectively provided corresponding to ideographic character assemblies of assemblies of the ideographic characters having a predetermined relationship, distinguished from adjacent areas, and the recording parts of the ideographic characters belonging to the ideographic character assembly are arrayed in the areas corresponding to the assemblies. As to the selection and arraying order of KANJI assemblies, KANJIs are sorted according to the format, the KANJIs having similar format are gathered as a KANJI assembly. Thus, whether the character or character coupling word belongs to the assembly or not can be presumed by observing the part of the character assemblies and coupling word assemblies thereby to retrieve it rapidly.
