DEVICE FOR IMPROVING MICROGRAVITY ENVIRONMENT

PURPOSE:To execute a gravity free experiment of good quality and long floating sustaining time with good reproducibility by injecting an experiment system imposed on injection mechanisms from near the floor surface in a flying object room in the direction opposite to the gravity acceleration at a prescribed initial speed. CONSTITUTION:The injection mechanisms 2 to 4 to be imposed with the experiment system for the gravity-free experiment, a propulsion control mechanism 5 and a control means 7 are provided. The experiment system 100 imposed on the injection mechanisms 2 to 4 is injected from near the floor surface in the flying object room in the direction opposite to the gravity acceleration at the prescribed initial speed. Namely, the distortion quantity h of a spring means 3, the microgravity acceleration (g) in the aircraft chamber and the initial injection speed (v) are previously set and the acceleration is measured by the high-accuracy accelerometer built in this device. The injection is executed at the moment when the preset acceleration value (g) is attained and, therefore, the gravity-free experiment of the good quality and the long floating sustaining time is executed with the good reproducibility.
