PURPOSE: To generate the geometrical graphic data of an original form by expressing the image of the original form by artificial visual, handling the image as the data converted into an electric signal, extracting the contour of the original form and storing the contour. CONSTITUTION: An analog video signal 2 to be transmitted from a matrix camera 1 to an image fetching substrate 3 is digitized by an A/D converter 4 and the signal is stored from a binary circuit 5 which is capable of converting a halftone digitized image into a white and black binary image to an image string memory 6 functioning by a memory control. The image fetching substrate 3 is connected with an external storage device 12, a memory 11 for working and a main microprocessor 13, defines the straight line and the curve of a contour, determines the boundary, determines the straight line and the curve of the contour, makes the contour into the original form, analyzes the changed point of the data from the binary circuit 5 and extracts the contour of the image. Thus, the data related to the geometrical graphic of the original form is generated.
