SYSTEM FOR FORMING CONFIRMATION SENTENCE OF JAPANESE SENTENCE ANALYZING RESULT

PURPOSE:To simply confirm the contents of retrieval execution simultaneously with the analyzed result of an input Japanese sentence by providing the title system with a means for forming and displaying a confirmation sentence expressing the meaning contents of the input Japanese sentence understood by the system. CONSTITUTION:When a Japanese sentence expressing an operation command for information retrieval is inputted to a Japanese sentence analyzing part 1, the analyzing part 1 refers a word dictionary 2, recognizes a Japanese character string, forms intermediate expression format 1a and supplies the formed expression format 1a to an input sentence meaning contents confirming sentence forming processing part 3 and the processing part 3 forms a confirmation sentence 3a indicating the meaning contents of the Japanese sentence while referring tables 4, 5. The processing part 3 supplies the confirmation sentence 3a to a user confirmation part 6, and in the case of updating the meaning contents, updates the confirmation sentence 3a and then confirmation sentence 3a is used as a user's input sentence to execute the analysis of the input sentence again from the Japanese analyzing part 1. Even if the system analyzes a Japanese sentence in error, an instruction such as retrieval can be prevented from being executed in error.
