DIALYTIC AQUEOUS SOLUTION FOR ABDOMINAL ADMINISTRATION AND RINSE SOLUTION

PURPOSE: To obtain the subject solution containing a physiological amount of an electrolyte and an amino acid mixture having a specific composition as a permeating substance and administrable over a long period without causing the complication in microbial system or intraperitoneal dialysis. CONSTITUTION: This dialytic aqueous solution or rinse solution contains a physiological amount of an electrolyte and amino acids in amounts shown in the table. The ratios of isoleucine:leucine:valine are 1:1.5:2.5 and the ratio of tyrosine:phenylalanine is 1.25:1. The solution may further contain other additives. The content of the amino acid mixture in the solution is 2-50g/l, preferably 7.5-12.5g/l. The solution preferably has an osmotic pressure of 300-700mosm/l, especially 320-550mosm/l and a pH value falling in acidic range, especially 5.5-6.5.
