PURPOSE:To attain efficient telephone call transfer by applying dialing automatically to a telephone set placed to the seat of a called party when the called party is designated, calling the called party when it is present and transferring the call to a visiting place when the called party is absent. CONSTITUTION:When a telephone terminal equipment 210 receives a call signal to a NCU 213 from a PBX 110, a control section 212 uses a received discrimination code to retrieve the presence information of a storage section 214 thereby obtaining the presence information of a person 310 and the location code of a telephone terminal equipment 240 being a visiting equipment and informs the absence information and the location code via a MODEM 215. A control section 222 displays the transfer to the telephone terminal equipment 240 onto a display device on a console panel 221, retrieves the call number of the telephone terminal equipment 240 from a storage section 224 based on the location code and calls the telephone terminal equipment 240 via a NCU 223 and the PBX 110.
