PURPOSE:To adjust the vibration position of a hydraulic oscillator, by providing a sliding liner between a cylinder and a hydraulic piston. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic piston 4 in a sliding liner 18 is vibrated by the interaction of the piston and a spool 5 in a pilot valve 2. To adjust the vibration position of the piston 4, lockup nuts 21, 22 are loosened so that adjusting screws 19, 20 can be turned. A turning tool is then used to loosen one of the screws 19, 20 and tighten the other to cause a sliding liner 18 to slide a desired distance along a cylinder 3. After that, the nuts 21, 22 are tightened. As a result, the positions of the oil supply hole 29 of a fixed pressure chamber 34 and the communication hole 32 of an alternating pressure chamber 36 are adjusted relative to the cylinder 3. The vibration position of the hydraulic piston 4 is thus adjusted.
