PURPOSE:To make only one tool mounting device enough for a tool head by a structure wherein a fixed tool fitting by pulling a pull rod is fixed by fitting to a fitting member arranged on a casing in the surrounding of the spindle heat of a tool fitting spindle. CONSTITUTION:A fitting member 15 which opposes to a fitting member 14 provided on a fixed tool 11, is fixedly provided on a head member 2 fixed to the casing 1 of the tool head. The fixed tool 11 is fixed by means of both the fitting members 14 and 15 by pulling the tool 11 in such a manner that firstly a shank 12 with a shape similar to that of a rotary tool is inserted in the taper hole of the tool setting spindle 3 and secondly a pull rod 7 is moved upward and thirdly a collet 8 is engaged with a pull stud 13. Large cutting load is supported by the casing 1. Furthermore, because stronger pulling force is requested to the pull rod 7 for the fixing of the fixed tool 11 to the casing 1, a piston 17 is provided in addition to a piston 9 and actuated only when the fixed tool 11 is set. Consequently, the provision of only one tool mounting device to the tool head becomes satisfactory.
