The impeller is for a centrifugal pump. At least a part of the flow lines (1,2,3) of the impeller blades, as seen in the direction of flow, has a section (B1C1,B2C2,B3C3) in which the blade angle (Beta) increases up to the transition region (W1,W2,W3) and then becomes smaller again. The section lies entirely in front of the blade channel entry (D12,D23,D34) or runs through the blade channel entry. USE/ADVANTAGE - An impeller for a suction stage of a centrifugal pump with low susceptibility to cavitation in the normal operating range and improved suction behaviour in the overload region.
