A strain of Rhodopseudomonas spec DSM 5,020 is pref. used together with Chromatium spec DSM 5,083 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa DSM 4,672 for the enhancement and stabilisation of waste water purificn. by the pond clarification method and in waste water treatment plants. ADVANTAGE - A more stable and effective process reducing emission of foul odours is obtd.
