Liquid absorbing sour gases containing a tertiary alkanolamine component and a CO2 absorption activator and its application to the deacidification of gas containing CO2 and optionally other sour gases

Liquid absorbing acidic gaseous compounds exhibiting an improved capacity for absorbing CO2, the said absorbing liquid containing one or more tertiary alkanolamines and a CO2 absorption activator. The activator consists of at least one amine compound corresponding to the formulae Y-(CnH2n)-NHR and R1-NH-(CnH2n)-OH, in which Y is a monovalent radical chosen from the group consisting of piperazyl, piperidyl, furyl, tetrahydrofuryl, thienyl, tetrahydrothienyl and -OR2 radicals, R is a radical R2 or a hydrogen atom, R1 denotes a C2-C6 monovalent hydrocarbon radical, R2 is a C1-C6, optionally hydroxylated, monovalent hydrocarbon radical and n is an integer ranging from 1 to 6. Application of the said absorbent liquid to the deacidification of gas containing CO2 and optionally of other acidic gaseous compounds, especially H2S and/or COS.
