PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition which can be filled in a vessel in a hot state or can be retorted after filling without causing the coagulation and precipitation, and is preservable for a long period at room temperature, by homogenizing a mixture of fermented milk, honey and a stabilizer, and sterilizing with heat, etc. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of fermented milk is mixed with 18-22pts.wt. of honey, and the mixture is added with 0.1-1.0% stabilizer (e.g. pectin, CMC, etc.). If necessary, fats, amino acids, vitamins, etc. can be added to the mixture in the above process. The obtained mixture is homogenized by passing through a homogenizer under 50-250kg pressure. The product is maintained at 3.5- 4.5pH and sterilized by heating at 80-140 deg.C for 2min-2sec. The sterilized composition is filled in a vessel at 80-100 deg.C and sealed, or filled in a vessel, sealed, and retorted at 100-125 deg.C for 15-1min to obtain the titled nutrient composition for serious preoperative or postoperative patient and preservable for =6 months at room temperature.
