FURIGANA (JAPANESE SYLLABARY ATTACHED TO CHINESE CHARACTER) ADDING SYSTEM OF TEXT PROCESSOR

PURPOSE:To add Furigana to Kanji (Chinese character) with an easy operation, by constituting the system so that Kana (Japanese syllabary) characters and space characters are outputted as Furigana alongside Kanji when adding of Furigana is indicated. CONSTITUTION:When the operator inputs Kana sentence, the inputted Kana sentence is displayed on the display screen of a display device 9. Next, when space characters are inputted, the Kana sentence is converted to a Kanji sentence or a sentence with mixed Kanji and is outputted, and space characters are outputted next. When the operator operates a ruby key, a ruby mode is set. When Kana characters are inputted, desired space characters are inserted to Kana characters, and Kana characters are inputted to a ruby buffer 24 and an input buffer 23. When the operator operates a conversion key, Kana characters are converted to ruby characters, and they are converted to corresponding Kanji in a Kana-Kanji converting circuit 5. On the device 9, ruby characters and spaces are displayed above Kanji.
