PURPOSE:To prevent the deviation of a damper rod by a method wherein a tubular spacer, consisting of a shape memory alloy, is fitted to the damper rod projected between a damper segment and a core. CONSTITUTION:A tubular spacer 4, consisting of a shape memory alloy, is fitted to both ends of damper rods 2a, 2b, which are projected out of a core 1, while damper segments 3 are brazed to both end surfaces. The spacer 4 of the shape memory alloy, shortened due to temperature generated upon brazing the damper rod to the damper segment while the length thereof is returned to the initial length of the spacer 4 when the temperature is reduced and adhered between the damper segment and the core, is fitted to the exposed parts of the damper rods 2a, 2b between the core 1 and the damper segment 3 in such a manner, whereby a part having the possibility of deviation may be eliminated and the deviation of the damper rod will never be generated. According to this method, the deviation of the position of the damper rod due to vibration and centrifugal force may be prevented.
