PURPOSE:To simplify work by setting a column on a dowel in a ready-set socket, to support the opening end section of the column with the outer periphery of the tapered dowel, and by driving a wedge into a space between the socket and the column, to fill up the space with a filler. CONSTITUTION:On the top section beam 30 of an iron tower, a socket 3 is previously set, and a dowel 4 is positioned on the center of the bottom surface of the socket 3. After that, the opening end section 2 of a hollow column 1 is fitted on the dowel 4, and is supported on the surface of the tapered outer periphery 8 of the dowel 4. After that, the inclination of the column 1 is regulated, and a plurality of wedges 5 are driven into a space between the socket 3 and the column 1, and the column 1 is fixed in the socket 3. Then, in the socket 3, in the space, a filler 6 is injected, and by solidifying the filler 6, the column 1 is firmly fixed in the socket 3. Accordingly, fixing work can be easily executed.
