PURPOSE:To simplify the manual input processing of betting ticket data to a betting ticket issuing machine and a manual input device at the time of cancel ing or changing the betting ticket data by allocating a control number to each betting ticket at the time of issuing the voting ticket and holding betting ticket data by using the control number as an index. CONSTITUTION:At the time of issuing a betting ticket, a betting ticket issuing machine receives a control number for controlling the betting ticket and prints out the number on the betting ticket. At that time, a host computer stores betting ticket data such as a race, type distinction, a group number, and amount together with the control number allocated to the betting ticket. In the case of manual input processing, the control number printed on the betting ticket is informed to the host computer instead of inputting all the data of the betting ticket. Thus, the input processing can be simplified by executing subtraction processing and repaying processing for canceling the betting ticket data.
