STANDING SPORTS TRAINING AND PROPRIOCEPTIVE REHABILITATION DEVICE ALLOWING ONE OR MORE DEGREES OF FREEDOM OF MOTION

A sports training and muscle-development proprioceptive rehabilitation apparatus using foot support and allowing the subject one or more degrees of freedom of motion. The exercises can thereby be modulatable, progressive and adaptable. The apparatus includes a movable supporting plate (1) suspended at at least four points (4) from a supporting frame (2) by means of four hooking devices (3), of which two at least are resilient, and of which the hooking ends (4) are distanced from each other. The supporting frame (2) further comprises at least four vertical members which carry two side straps (7) located at least as high as the level of the subject's hips when he is in an upright position. The supporting frame may also comprise two upper straps (16) which can fit over the subject's shoulders to provide him with vertical downwards reaction points so that the frame can be used in a zero-gravity environment.
