The pedal control unit consists of four rod-shaped actuators in a vertically installed frame. The toes of a foot or a shoe cap can be inserted into this frame and moved to operate the actuators for the assigned control switches causing corresp. vertical or horizontal movement of part of the equiment. The heel of the use's foot or shoe rests on a sliding carriage (20) movable forwards or backwards by corresp. movement of the foot or shoe. These movements operates (26,27) switches for corresp. forwards or backwards control. USE/ADVANTAGE - Positioning derservation instruments settable for course and fine working.
