Digital data transmission for ring bus communication exchange - accelerating complete cell transmission and reception with transition command by central control with switching mode alteration

Stations (S1-Sn) are interconnected by a serial ring bus (RB) with a central control (RST) contg. a channel converter (KU) for transposing all data from a predetermined channel into other channels by change of switching mode for transmission cells assembled from asynchronously switched packets of unit length. With transition from a fixed wideband-channel ordering of cells to distribution of a cell among several channels, the switching time for each cell is shortened. ADVANTAGE - Complete reception of data packet is achievable more quickly when several wideband channels are available within one pulse frame.
