The stand (1) is used for displaying posters. It has a vertical or angled modular frame (2) on a base (3) with crossbars (6, 7) between vertical sections. A number of swinging rectangular flap frames (8) are mounted in holes in the cross bars, these frames comprising solid or hollow sections with upper and lower mounting sections to which are attached fasteners for detachably holding the flat object or a cover for the flat object. USE/ADVANTAGE - The display stand, particular for posters, takes up a very small space.
