An agent (I) for the treatment of neurodermatitis, dandruff and similar conditions contains a mineral acid (pref. sulphuric acid) at pH 0-6 (pref. 0-2.5) and water and/or an alcohol. (I) pref. contains in aq. soln. 2-20 (esp. 7-10) ppm. Fe2+/Fe3+, 0.1-10 (esp. 1.5-4) ppm. Zn2+, 5-500 (esp. 80-100) ppm. Na+, 1-150 (esp. 20-30) ppm. Ca2+, 2-200 ppm. (esp. 40-50) ppm. K+ and 1-150 (esp. 20-80) ppm. Mg2+. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) can be used in the treatment of neurodermatitis dandruff etc. (I) takes effect rapidly (within a few days) and causes essentially no side-effects. (I) is simple to use. (I) contains no cortisone or other medicaments.
