Universal decoder for program-accompanying data - is of modular type usable in VHF and TV receivers for wide range evaluation

The decoding system is of modular design, with a facility for subsequent incorporation in prepared VHF and TV receivers. Thus the receivers can evaluate program-accompanying, or program-simulating RDS, NICAM, D2-MAC etc. data. Pref. the system contains a Prager decoder so that the entire system is suitable for transmission of Alpha numeric messages, switching signals, tuning data etc. to a classifiable USW or TV receiver, using radio, cable, link and/or satellite paths. The used systems are typically fitted in housings with an outer dimension of a commercial audio cassette. ADVANTAGE - Enables data instead of audio signals to be fed and evaluated at reception side.
