The earphones (22,33) and microphone (23) are parts of an earphone set (2) and microphone set (3) respectively of min. thickness so that the outfit does not come beyond the outermost plane of the lobe of the ear. Both sets (2, 3) are placed movably on stalks (11a) of the hoop (12), and have stirrups (26, 31) turned towards the head. A control unit (4) is operable manually by a transmitter switch (47), or by a voice switch (48) for speech sampling, or by a magnetic switch. ADVANTAGE - The equipment will fit on any helmet, giving max. transmission quality even when protective masks are worn.
