Immunoassay of dextromethorphan and/or dextrorphan in biological samples

The invention relates to a method for determination of the dextromethorphan and/or dextrorphan concentration in a biological sample, wherein the dextromethorphan or dextrorphan present in the aforementioned biological sample is placed in competition with a known amount of conjugate, corresponding to the assayed hapten attached to a label, with regard to a specified amount of polyclonal antibodies, and wherein the conjugates bound at the end of the reaction are evaluated in order to determine the concentration of dextromethorphan or dextrorphan contained in the biological sample by reference to concentration curves obtained under the same conditions with standard samples.
