PURPOSE:To facilitate the mounting on a car and store effectively the image data which can serve for protecting of privacy and disclosure of crime. CONSTITUTION:A car, for example a taxi, is equipped with a video camera 8 to output image data on a passenger or passengers of the car and operation instructing means (charge meter 11) to give instruction about operation of the video camera 8, and therein also a volatile memory 7 is installed which initializes the memory region in response to the instruction from this operation instructing means and stores the image data from the video camera 8 in this initialized memory region. When no cancel signal is given by a cancel code entering device 13, a non-volatile memory 15 stores the image data in the abovementioned volatile memory in accordance with the changeover motion of a power monitoring changeover circuit 5.
