PURPOSE:To automatically and continuously measure the chlorophyll concentration without executing the maintenance for a long period by washing the inside surface of a cylindrical body, and feeding and discharging water into and from the cylindrical body by a wiper provided in a transparent cylindrical body having a light shielding structure against the outside of a case. CONSTITUTION:A case 1 is installed in a prescribed depth in the water by a cable 12. In such a way, the inside surface of the cylindrical body 4 is always washed by a reciprocating motion of the wiper 5 in the cylindrical body 4, and the measurement is always executed exactly together with a light shielding effect of a cover body 43.
