BEND-WORKING APPARATUS FOR BAMBOO MATERIAL AND BEND-WORKING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE:To enable a strong bamboo article with a uniform bending R to be produced in a low cost multi-production manner by mounting a bamboo material on the bending main body and fixing the one end of the bamboo material and setting the distance between the one end and the other end into a predetermined dimension and, after preventing the bamboo material from springing out of the bending main body, forcibly bending the bending main body until it comes into circumferential contact with an R ruler material for bending the bamboo material into a desired shape of R. CONSTITUTION:A bamboo material D is mounted on one edge of a bending main body A and the one end thereof is placed into contact with a stopper 5 and then adjusted by turning of bolt 7 in order that the dimension between the other end thereof and a press board 8 becomes a distance determined by bending R. Next, the holes of a bar 9 and the holes of the other edge 3 are connected by wire 10 and, when the bending main body A is bent, the bamboo material D is made not springing out upwardly. Thereafter, the wire 16 is drawn for bending the bending main body A in order that the one edge 1 of the bending main body A comes into circumferential contact with the outside of an R ruler material B and until the other edge 3 becomes a desired shape of R. After the bamboo material D is bent forcibly into a desired shape of R, the whole of the bamboo D is heated uniformly, thereby adapting the bent bamboo material to the R.
